    Motorcycle Helmets Tips:

    • Many types and makes are available from open face to full face versions
    • Costs from under $40 to $ hundreds
    • Be sure to select a DOT approved motorcycle grade helment, not a bicycle grade or ski helmet
    • Go to a motorcycle dealer for obtaining a proper fitting helmet. 
    • While helmets will help protect your head in an accident, closed head trauma may still result in severe or fatal injury so stay in control at all times and keep your speed down!  25 mph = 38 feet per second or equivalent to a fall from a 2nd story window!
